Who can register?
Canadian companies of any size, and CGCC members in both countries. The mission is open to all delegates and is not restricted by sector, although the programme is built around energy, resources, infrastructure, finance, logistics and agriculture.
What does the fee include?
The 19 October business forum including lunch, the evening welcome reception, your scheduled one to one meetings on 20 and 21 October, meeting briefings, and Chamber support on the ground. Flights, hotel, insurance, ground transport and meals outside the programme are arranged and paid for by each delegate.
How do I pay?
After you register, the Chamber sends an invoice with the amount due and banking details. Payment is accepted by Interac e-Transfer to devon.harnarain@cgchamber.gy, by cheque, or, for Guyanese organisations, by local bank transfer. Your place is confirmed once payment is received.
Can more than one delegate attend from my organisation?
Yes. Fees are charged per delegate, with a reduced rate for each additional delegate. Rates are listed on the registration page.
How are meetings arranged?
Meetings are arranged using the information provided at registration. The more specific you are about your sector, capabilities and target counterparts, the more effective your schedule will be. Delegates who name target companies or agencies receive more relevant meetings.
What is the dress code?
Business attire is recommended for the forum and meetings, and business or smart attire for the evening reception. Georgetown is hot and humid in October, so lightweight fabrics are advisable.
Is the programme final?
Speaker participation and some timings remain subject to final confirmation. Schedules for 20 and 21 October are being confirmed. The evening welcome reception on 19 October is at the High Commission Residence in Georgetown.
How do I cancel a registration?
Please contact info@cgchamber.gy as early as possible. Meeting schedules are arranged well in advance, and late changes affect counterparts as well as delegates.
